March 9-10th 2020
The IFRA hosted the TNOC West Africa policy workshop in the serene surroundings of the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) in Nigeria.
The workshop aimed to engage key policy makers and practitioners from national, international and non-government agencies with research on the hidden narratives on drugs and migration. It focused on the sharing of experience and evidence in relation to the trade in Tramadol and irregular migration in Nigeria and Niger.
Participants made comparisons across various policy fields and countries in the sub-region. Based on these discussions and the evidence presented, a policy paper was co-produced. The workshop was held under Chatham House rules.
